Log Cabin Cafe – Frisco

After my hike at Mount Royal I was looking for a good place to eat in Frisco. The restaurants are only doing carryout orders because of the virus but I was drawn to this sign.

The Log Cabin Cafe is located on Main St. in Frisco and serves breakfast and lunch specialties. After seeing the sign I walked by some out door tables and saw what had to be the coolest bench I had ever seen.

It was made from what looked like 2 wagon wheels and a couple of pieces of driftwood. After seeing this I knew this was the spot for me.

I ended up ordering the Frisco Steak Sandwich which was like a Philly Cheese steak with sliced steak, peppers, mushrooms and cheese. It came with fries but I ended up getting the side salad instead because I never know when my doctor might be reading!

The sandwich was really good. The cheese melted very nicely and kept it all together. The mushrooms were large slices which I really liked. A little bit of tang from the peppers finished off each bit.

The steak itself was delicious. It was flavorful and was the prominent taste even with the cheese and peppers. The Au Jus made for a nice addition as well. The bread was strong enough to hold up to repeated dips. It was a very good sandwich.

The Salad had two large tomato slices and some of the best croutons I have ever tasted.

FInally, as I was leaving I saw this sign that they had in front of the building. I will let you read it but it shows the type of fun personality the staff had.

I had a really great time at the Log Cabin Cafe in Frisco. If you find yourself in town you should give them a shot. They are located on the west side of Main St. closer to the I-70 exit.

I have added this restaurant and all of the places I have been to my interactive map section you can find here. If you have a suggestion of a place to try you can email me at fatmanlittletrails@gmail.com. You could also follow me on any of the below social media platforms. Bon Appetit!

Help Me Help a Small Business

Unlike some other bloggers, I never ask for discounted or free meals on my site. I think it is important, especially now, to support our local restaurants and small business owners. It does get expensive though and I am just a small business myself so if you are willing to help me out by making a donation below I would greatly appreciate it and be able to continue to bring you the content you love!
