After my hike at the Palmer Trail it was time to find some food. I made it to Colorado Ave where there are a lot of different shops but one in particular caught my eye. Paravicini’s was a corner spot in an older building and turned out to be a great spot.
The inside of the restaurant had a cool design with old pictures on the wall and a great wood floor and cool little bar. They also had an open kitchen and just an overall great feeling to it.
The Food
Now to the important part…the Food! To start, Paravicini’s brings out a small loaf of bread and has oil and vinegar on the table so you can mix your own dip. The bread was really good.
Next I ordered a Caesar salad. I was told that they made their own dressing from scratch and it was delicious. It had the perfect blend of creaminess and saltiness to make for a great salad.

Lunch Specials
For lunch they had special offers for $9.99 that were a bit smaller portions but still delicious. I ended up going with Tonios Rigatoni. The rigatoni was chicken and mozzarella and tomato’s in a cream sauce.
I am not the biggest pasta eater but I really liked this. There were large chunks of chicken as well as a nice amount of vegetables. The pasta was done really well and was soft and the cream sauce was thick enough to cover without getting clumpy.
I devoured this dish. The flavors really worked well with each other and the chicken was really good. It was the perfect meal after a challenging hike.

Finding Paravicini’s
If you find yourself in Colorado Springs give Paravicini’s a shot. They are located on the corner of 28th and Colorado Ave.
I have added this restaurant and all of the restaurants I have visited to my interactive map that you can find here. Help Me Help a Small Business
Unlike some other bloggers, I never ask for discounted or free meals on my site. I think it is important, especially now, to support our local restaurants and small business owners. It does get expensive though and I am just a small business myself so if you are willing to help me out by making a donation below I would greatly appreciate it and be able to continue to bring you the content you love!
