Flagstaff Station Market Cafe
After the Kendrick Park Watchable Wildlife Trail I wasn’t really that hungry. Then I saw the sign for the Flagstaff Station and had to stop. I have said it before but classic looking signs will get me every time.

When I pulled in the sign began to make perfect sense. The café sits in an old gas station that was remodeled into a really cool sandwich shop. They had some outdoor seating under the old gas canopy and inside it was part market, part coffee shop and part kitchen. It was a really cool concept and vibe.

The Food
For breakfast the Flagstaff Station offers baked goods, panini’s, waffles with a all sorts fresh fruit options. For lunch they offer soups, wraps and panini’s. I was there for lunch and ordered the Route 66 panini.
This panini came with Black Forest Ham, Caramelized onion jam, gruyere cheese and baby arugula. The cheese and arugula mixed with the ham to give the sandwich a nice sweet flavor to it. The cheese was melted well through the whole panini and didn’t over power the flavors. The toasted panini bread with ridges gave the whole sandwich a really nice crunch to it and I really like it!

If you find yourself on the north side of Flagstaff give the Flagstaff Station a shot! A cool concept with some really good food.
Finding Flagstaff Station
Flagstaff Station is located at 1800 N. Fort Valley Road. It is in the renovated 1962 Winn-Oil gas station on the side of the road. Indoor and outdoor seating are both available at Flagstaff Station.
I have added this restaurant and all of the restaurants I have been to on my interactive map that you can find here. Help Me Help a Small Business
Unlike some other bloggers, I never ask for discounted or free meals on my site. I think it is important, especially now, to support our local restaurants and small business owners. It does get expensive though and I am just a small business myself so if you are willing to help me out by making a donation below I would greatly appreciate it and be able to continue to bring you the content you love!

One of my favorite coffee stops when I lived in the area. Looks like they’ve upgraded their menu since then.
