Blasted Bistro – Winslow

If you decide to make it to the Meteor Crater National Landmark one thing you may notice is that there really isn’t anything else around. There is a gas station at the highway exit and then I didn’t see another building until the crater complex. Enter the Blasted Bistro.

The Blasted Bistro is the small café located near the gift shop at the national landmark. They offer pizza’s, sandwiches, soups and sandwiches and is really convenient.

The Food

I wasn’t starving but knew I had a long day ahead of me so I ordered a club sandwich. The sandwich was actually really good. It had some of the freshest veggies that I have seen on a sandwich to be honest. Also, the bread is freshly baked.

To be honest I wasn’t expecting too much out of a landmark cafeteria but I was pleasantly surprised. The sandwich was really good. The bread was delicious and as I said the veggies were super fresh. Looking back at the picture and seeing how bright the onions and lettuce were took me back. I ate half of the sandwich and kept the other half to eat later on the Great Southwestern Road Trip.

Finding the Blasted Bistro

The bistro is located directly behind the gift shop at the Meteor Crater National Landmark. If you are at the landmark it is a great option for lunch. Meteor Crater is located just off of exit 233 on US 40.

I have added this restaurant and all of the restaurants I have been to on my interactive map that you can find here. If you have a suggestion for a restaurant or any comments feel free to email me at fatmanlittletrails@gmail.com or you can follow me on any of the below social media platforms. Bon Appetit!

Help Me Help a Small Business

Unlike some other bloggers, I never ask for discounted or free meals on my site. I think it is important, especially now, to support our local restaurants and small business owners. It does get expensive though and I am just a small business myself so if you are willing to help me out by making a donation below I would greatly appreciate it and be able to continue to bring you the content you love!
