Lime Deli – Gallatin, TN

Lime Deli

After a fun hike to Bledsoe Creek State Park it was time to find a place for some lunch. We didn’t have to go far before we were on the old town square of Gallatin and that is where we found the Lime Deli.

The Lime Deli sat directly across from the courthouse in a brick building. The smaller restaurant had an assortment of deli style options and indoor and outdoor seating available.

The Food

Now to the important part…the Food! As is my tradition, I asked at the counter what the most popular item was on the menu. I was told the Southern Cordon Bleu was the way to go and I didn’t have to be told twice!

The Southern Cordon Bleu was a panini style sandwich and the bread was really good and had a buttery taste to it. All the flavors melted into each other and it tasted really good. The sandwich had Grilled Chicken, aged country ham, herb roasted tomatoes, pesto and jack cheese. While it was hard to identify individual flavors, as a group this sandwich was really good.

The Lime Deli had an assortment of hot and cold sandwiches as well as salads and was a great spot to stop for a quick bite. If you find yourself in Gallatin, give the Lime Deli a shot.

Finding the Lime Deli

Help Me Help a Small Business

Unlike some other bloggers, I never ask for discounted or free meals on my site. I think it is important, especially now, to support our local restaurants and small business owners. It does get expensive though and I am just a small business myself so if you are willing to help me out by making a donation below I would greatly appreciate it and be able to continue to bring you the content you love!
