Colorado’s First Outside Festival
Tickets are now on sale for the inaugural Outside Festival to be held in Denver Saturday 1st and 2nd. The new festival is bringing the best of outdoors, a film festival and top tier musical acts to Denver’s Civic Center park. A perfect way to kick off the summer for Colorado’s outdoor lovers!
The Music
Two days of concerts will provide some of the entertainment for this weekend festival. Thundercat, Lettuce and Say She She will headline the first day of music. Following that, the Fleet Foxes, Andrew Bird and The Heavy Heavy headline day 2. Popular Colorado local bands will also perform throughout the 2 days of music!
Film and Idea Summit
Across the street from the park at the Denver Art Museum will be a stellar film festival. Documentaries and adventure films will be screened. I haven’t seen the full lineup of films yet but the films are being curated in partnership with the Boulder International Film Festival, Tellurides MountainFilm Festival and the Mountains of Color Film Festival. Guest speakers including artists, authors, professional athletes, and explorers will also be featured to keep the ideas going. So far they haven’t asked me, the Fatman, to speak but I’m still checking my email everyday!
The Gear
The Outside Festival will also be the place for people to check out the latest gear. Attendees will be able to see demo’s and get recommendations from some of the top gear reviewers around. Including from the Outdoor Lab at CU! Some top outdoor brands will be there showcasing the latest and greatest as well. Just in time to get you ready for the summer outdoor season!
Tickets
Early-bird tickets for the Outside Festival start at $39 for a single-day general admission ticket and $59 for the full weekend. VIP packages will also be available starting at $103 for those who want an elevated experience. Outside+ members will be offered two-day tickets for the price of a single-day ticket for themselves and up to four friends, plus discounted VIP pricing. Personally, I am very excited for this festival and it sounds like an amazing experience. With so many people in Denver and Colorado loving the outdoors it is a perfect time for an event like this.
