North Fork Boardwalk

North Fork Boardwalk is located on Highway 92 in Crawford sort of on the edge of the downtown area. The building is really cool with a nice wood porch and I love the wood beams that line the front of the building!

Inside, North Fork is a really nice and clean concept with wood floors and a small lunch counter style bar. There looked to be a patio and a bar in the back of the restaurant but I stayed in the front room. To me, it was a cross between an old country saloon and a modern bistro you would find in the art district of big city. I really liked the ambiance.

The Food!

The look is great but this blog is all about the important stuff…the Food! North Fork Boardwalk serves traditional fare with sandwiches and burgers but what I was told they were known for was their chicken. The chicken was available on a salad, fried as strips or on a sandwich. I decided to go with the grilled option on a sandwich that came on bun with lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions and fries.

They weren’t lying about that chicken! It was really good. It had a citrus/lemon flavor to it that seemed like it must have been soaked in the marinade for days. The chicken was really moist as well. In fact, it almost made the bun a little soggy. It was really good and I devoured this sandwich!

The fries were also very good. They tasted and looked hand cut and almost had a potato skin taste to it. They were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside and full of flavor. I liked everything about this meal and I also enjoyed the vibe of North Fork Boardwalk. If you find yourself around Crawford, make sure to give them a shot!

Finding North Fork Boardwalk

North Fork Boardwalk is located at 273 Hwy 92 in Crawford, Colorado. There is parking in front of the building and bigger lot to the side. North Fork is open Tuesday through Saturday 7am – 10pm (Midnight on Fridays) and open 8am – 10pm on Sundays. They are closed on Mondays.
