Seasons Restaurant at Double Arrow

Seasons Restaurant at Double Arrow

Inside the main lodge at the Double Arrow is the Seasons Restaurant. The main lodge is amazing. It houses some guest rooms on one side and then is set up in a Great Hall style anchored by a giant fireplace near the entrance.

Giant beams set the frame under the A-Frame vaulted ceiling. Perfectly polished hardwood floors lined the floors while solid wood tables, chairs and benches provided a warmth to every meal. The building looked at the same time classic and like it was built yesterday. As soon as I walked in, it just felt amazingly comfortable. However, no dining hall can get by on looks alone, so its time to talk food!

The Food!

Seasons Restaurant sticks to its name! They have a seasonal menu’s to provide the freshest seasonal ingredients and also use the menu to highlight the Seeley Swan Valley area. Rattlesnake and Rabbit Sausage, Huckleberry Cheesecake are some seasonal options, along with steaks, fish, burgers. A little something for all the taste buds out there.

I am a big fan of breakfast so I focused on that. Seasons has an extensive breakfast menu with sweet options like waffles and pancakes, blintzes and berries, omelets, and more. For me, it always comes down to the Corned Beef Hash.

Corned Beef Hash

At Seasons, the Corned Beef Hash is house braised and cooked with onions and home fries, topped with two eggs and served with toast. The first thing I noticed was how huge the portions were. I am a big fella and struggled to finish this but I’m no quitter! The corned beef was really good. There were huge chunks of meat with almost more beef than home fries! The eggs were cooked perfectly and I have to say this is one of the best breakfasts I have had in a long time. I judge all my breakfast places by their Corned Beef hash and this was definitely top 2 or 3 I have ever had!

This was a perfect way to fuel up for a long day of exploring all the wonderful outdoor adventures in the nearby valley. If you find yourself near Seeley Lake, Montana, definitely give Season’s Restaurant at the Double Arrow Lodge a shot!
