Brush Creek Saloon
The Brush Creek Saloon is located in downtown Eagle, Colorado. I walked in and it seemed like everyone in there knew each other. Families were all gathered together and talking to the staff like they were one of the family. As a passerby, I came sat at the bar and the staff came up to me and treated me like I was part of the family, too! That is what you want to have when you visit a town and pop into a new restaurant. That feeling that you are welcome.
The Food!
Now to the real important part…The Food! The Brush Creek Saloon was serving both lunch and breakfast when I popped in on a Sunday afternoon. They had a good assortment of appetizers and breakfast options. Also entrees like Creamy Pasta, Enchilada’s, and Pulled Pork Taco’s but the main focus of the menu was their burgers.
I went with a staple, The Patty Melt with a side of Onion Rings. The first thing I noticed was how big the burger patty was. This was thick and juicy and cooked really well. I almost thought it was two patty’s but it was just one big burger which was so nice to see with so many places skimping these days.
The big patty was definitely the highlight of the patty melt which also featured grilled onions and a generous amount of sauce. The onion rings were also big! Big slices of onion and thick and crispy batter that gave a little crunch before revealing the soft onion below. Just the way I like them. This was a really great meal and such a nice environment. If you find yourself in Eagle, give the Brush Creek Saloon a shot!
Finding the Brush Creek Saloon
The Brush Creek Saloon is located at 241 Broadway in Eagle, Colorado. I found parking on the street about a half block away in the downtown area. Brush Creek is open from 11-2 Monday through Friday and 9-2 on weekends.
