The Pawnee Buttes in northern Weld County are geological wonders that make for a good hike to see the towering buttes rising from the prairie.
Dawson Butte Ranch is a mixed use trail with some great views. The trail is relatively easy and should be good for most skill levels.
The Island in the Sky section of Canyonlands National Park has several hikes and impressive views that challenge the Grand Canyon in awe.
